Lately I have been noticing a good number of people who are saying that, for the most part. There are a lot of people in here taking a lot of gear, but look like shit......I tried to upload a picture of myself....and it said that the file was to large.......HOW DO YOU UPLOAD A PICTURE THEN?

You need paint shop pro or something similar to resize the photo

That is what I tried to do and saved in under the Paint file and said was still to big to upload....... This is so freakin annoying
 
Paint saves files as a bitmap defaultly. When you click file, save as, then save the file; change the "save as type" at the bottom to a jpeg. Jpeg is MUCH smaller than a bmp. :)

Bro, resize the pixels not the inches...I don't know if that is how you are doing it or not, but if take the pixels down to the 3 or 400 range...it will be small enough
 
Yeah! click at the top image you will see resize set it for 500 X 500 its 2400 like it is wayyy to big.

holy shit i never knew that how dumb am i and i've been pretty handy with computers for like 8 years..
 
I didnt say you were dumb. I simply said you can do it manualy. Takes a few secs is all. :)
 
I would just send to PolfaJelfa as he said and he will resize and thats job done

Bros for anything dealing with pictures, I highly recommend you use Irfanview. www.irfanview.com Its free and tiny, less than a 1MB download. It is the most badass image program I've ever used and I've used just about all of them. It can batch resize and convert entire diretories of jpgs, bmps, you name it. Check it out.
