IS there any real benefits to using waxy maize over the usual dextrose/maltodextrin pwo combo? I was thinking about it but I just recently read that Waxy Maize Starch does not spike insulin , which I was told is neccessarry post workout. I have used dextrose for years. Any help would be nice.
 
How much dextrin Post workout are you suppose to use? I have a whole bag sittin behind me that's unopen because I can't find anybody who knows. So i just used 2 things of Lowfat yogurt for the carbs...

75-100 g is sufficient for anyone.

Normally, 0.8 to 1.2 per kg of bodyweight is prescribed for dextrose
