Kay so I have been doing some reading this afternoon and wondering if I have been doing this all wrong... When I first started with my old trainer way back when he had me take in a meal replacement after my workout... In the attempt to stop taking in so many shakes during the day I cut that out and decided to take in real food after my workout...
Now after reading some articles I am thinking that this thinking was wrong... There is a lot of info about getting in dextrose, and maltodextrin with protein within minutes of working out... I thought there was like an hour window that you had to eat in but that it could be solid food with of course carbs.. But a lot of articles claim that these two types of carbs are the most important for glycogen production etc...
what do you ladies think about this? do any of you have a pws that you have designed for yourself? If so what is it and how do you think it has been working?
