ok i just started training again after like a 3 year lay off or something. im on atkins and working out 5 days per week in the morning for less then 1 hour each time. i wanted to ask should i add any little carbs pre and post workout? im diabetic and 450lbs so i dont know if i should, but im not recovering for anything! and after a short time in the gym i get tired quick. any advice on what to eat? thanks...

but if you must..

base your food intake on complex carbs, low gi foods, healty fats good high protein AND PLENTY OF WATER. i would not recomend a eca/fat burner at the moment as we dont know the condition of your heart and or your cardiac health

well i mainly read and do stuff myself u know. i dont like doctors to much..

but georgie, u really think im better off more carbs/fiber? humm ill look into that..thanks

becareful witch carbs you choose and when you eat them!! if you can sqeeze eating 150-200 g everyday of low gi carbs then your on your way. with ALA youll be even better off. here is a shopping list for you to get ideas from

fresh low glycemic fruit
yams
whole grain breads
brown rice
whole wheat pasta
crystal light
natty peanut butter
lean chicken breast
lean serloin steaks
sugar free jello/pudding
cottage sheese
skim milk
low sodium salsa
taco kits
diet soda( keep to a minimum)
pecans
almonds

now for the supplements( non stimulant)
protein powder
multi-vit
protien bars
xenadrine efx(some caffeine no ephedra)!!
flax oil

this is off the top of my head. if you need anymore help just be specific in your questions as it will be easier to asses a proper regimine for ya.

just a few questions...
are you over eating at times??(binging)
will you give yourself at least 6 months before quitting??

thank u very much G!!!

i do binge. and yes i will for sure give myself 6 months. my main problem is sticking to it. ive always really tried low low carbs(atkins) and fucked up. not because it doesnt work but becaus eof the binges. i love fruit! apples strawberries, melon, peach. when i eat some fruits i feel pretty good and stuff...im looking for something that will help me maintain or (i wish) gain strength while loseing weight. im around 450 but i have alot of muscle. i think if i was around 300 i would look around 20% body fat. so i have a large amount of muscle and gaining back my strength .

thank you again man.
