Post-Workout Meal Help??

I was just wondering besides the 50 or so g of protein I am taking post-workout, what if anything else should I take, ie hear a lot of people eat fruit or simple sugars???
 
yup, you are supposed to take some form of simple sugar (Dextrose and MaltoDextrin) after your workout to replenish the muscle gylcogen storage. Eat a banana is also not a bad idea. There are people who drink grape juice or tang. But from what I understand, you wanna stay away from fructose as your main source of carb post workout because it refills your liver glycogen preferrentially.
