post workout carb drink while on

my delima with a post workout simple sugar carb drink..... i havent been drinking a post workout simple sugar drink for the last 4 months and I think i have noticed a more positive difference. Bodyfat is down and I dont get any sugar cravings later on. Should I stay away from the drinks? Im about to start a new cycle this week. Or do u think it will help with my gains if I add it back in. My cycle is going to be a lean bulker consisting of test e, eq, and var. thanks
 
I would recommend keeping the PW Carb drink... Usually i add a banana to a protein shake and thats my carb intake
 
yes you should always have a PWO shake with carbs reguardless of cutting, bulking or maintanence...

The best one I have found is a 50/50 mix of gaterade and water. Add 25g-50g of dextrose and 10g glutamine...

then i make a shake with 25g of oatmeal and 50g whey... it covers all the bases of slow vs. quick absorbed carbs and it give you a good amount of protein as well..

Yep, that's what I do, but I just use dextrose, no Gatorade, and oatmeal with whey. It will prevent the hypo crash that goes with just taking in sugar with no low GI carbs.
 
I love gatorade and since i dont ever need to get down to 4% bf.. I dont mind the sodium or extra sugars it has.. But I completely agree Mak.. Gatorade is not needed at all..

Actually if you don't have access to Dextrose you can take powdered Gatorade instead and still get to 4% body fat. The reason I don't is because I can get dextrose. Either one will work, but I like straight dextrose.
