Sorry, too long to post and I ain't bothering to find it:

The final chase scene in the first Blue's Brothers movie, that begins with the famous lines:

Elwood: "It's a 150 miles to Chicago. We got a full tank of gas, a half a pack of cigarettes, we're wearing sunglasses and it's dark."

Jake: "Hit it."

Yeah the Bullit scene makes me want to fire up some Burnout: Paradise.

The Hitcher remake was made great by cool cinematography, Sean Bean, and Sophia Bush.

"What's Up Doc", the Peter Bogdonovich film with Ryan O'Neal and Barbara Streisand

What was the one with the mini-coopers? The Italian Job? I don't remember if they had a chase scene but they did some cool shit with those little cars.

the chase scene in "bullet" is truly a classic.

i also like the chase scenes in "the seven-ups" and "against all odds" :artist:

Love this guy!

not a chase scene but in Transporter 2 he flips a car to knock a bomb off the bottom of the car by hit a crane. At the point i knew this movie was meant to be a comedy.

Chase scene in the Matrix II

Only thing worth watching in the whole movie - oh except for Monica Bulluci that was hot.

Yeah but the music was cool too and that stoicism from Carrie Ann-Moss - that was hot too.

yeh everybody KNOWS cool music is the key to a great car chase scene......

"The enduring scenes of the forboding Charger and the powerful Mustang have etched themselves in film making history. The sequences were the brain child of Steve McQueen; He knew what he wanted and how he wanted it to appear on film. No one has duplicated the electricity or the savage ferocity that manifested itself in BULLITT chase scenes, and it's doubtful any one ever will." Motor Trend

I like McQueen's motocycle chase in The Great Escape, as well.

You know, on the serious tip, I really gotta say the chase in "Grindhouse" (Death Proof) was pretty F'n, A-O-K! Beautiful cars......and women.

The actual chase starts approx. 1:30 in.

Bullet is #1, followed by Blues Brothers.

The Hummer in The Rock isn't too bad.

The Rock

My personal favorite is the golf cart chase at the end of Reno 911: Miami. (couldn't find video, sorry)

I'm going to have to include all Jackie Chan foot chases. This guy seriously knows how to compose action for a moving medium.
