Agreed, I have one daughter and she's going to hate life when she starts dating. I'm a nerd and I'd insist on going with them on their first 5-6 dates.

Boys, I imagine, are easier. Just set them in the general driection and put them on auto-pilot.

Fortunately I didn't have any daughters. Mostly fortunate for them. I couldn't imagine all of the turmoil they'd go through trying to bring a boyfriend home for me to meet.

The boys I told to wear condoms when the have sex and that they get to raise their own children. Of course I told their girlfriends the same thing.

My niece introduces all of her boyfriends to me. She is treated VERY well...
