I am cutting right now and I really enjoy eating bananas .
Would be OK to have one after a 3 miles run?Or a protein shake would be suffice?

Depends on how strict you're being. If you're cutting, ANY sugar, including fructose (fruit), will hinder your fat loss. You'd be better of with the low-carb MRP.

NO!it is the worst thing for cutting

Actually, cake and ice cream are worse. But I like to split hairs with ddc now and then.

Will fruit in the am destroy an otherwise good diet? no. It will just mean that getting to your goal will take longer. It's up to you.

bananas are a excellent food to consume after running. muscle glycogen needs to be replaced along with electrolytes. the more ripe a banana the higher the content of glucose to fructose, as the ratio of the sugars change.

try listening to the people with over 3000 posts-not the 1 with 200

Listen to diamond...if your that into bananas...they are good after a liftinging session to spike insulin along with your protein shake...ive been known to eat them then. Also they are full of b-vitamins and potassium so after lifting its not a bad time. However, as for after a cardio session stick to something low GI if your having carbs...such as oatmeal.
