post office/USPS question

Just have one quick question. I know this is the anabolic board, but who else would know other than you guys. Just tracked a package that came in today and it says:
Your item was undeliverable as addressed at 10:58 am on May 15, 2004 in R*** P***, NY 1****. It is being returned if appropriate information is available.

Does this mean its being returned to the sender? I mean thats not even the post office that I always receive packages from... Just a little worried, any info on this is appreciated.. Thanks fellas.

I've never seen that, but it sounds almost like the PO delivered to the wrong address, and the recipient is perhaps returning it to sender...
(I'm just guessing tough )
