post cutting cycle calories

what do you guys know about this? if someone were to run a cycle to keep muscle while cutting and the cycle is now over, should they increase caloric intake to support the new muscle? this assumes that they maintained/increased the overall bodyweight but lowered bodyfat %

thanks

I'm not sure why you'd raise your caloric intake to maintain. Is it because of raised metobolic rate due to more lean body mass? I guess if you put on a significant amout of pure LBM it would make sense. But there are more factors. Like a persons BMR during the cycle, after the cycle and how effective the PCT was. I admit I don't have much experience with gear so I'm just speculating.

i was thinking more along the lines of increasing calories because i was in a caloric defecit while i was on. i was using the cycle to maintain what i had while in that defecit. so to me it would make sense that when you come off you would have to increase in order to maintain new/kept muscle since now there is no anabolic. i'm just not sure if thats the right thing tho. in theory it sounds good, just looking to see if anyone here has real life exp.
