well, i'm going to bed juicy. so i'll check your intelligent and mature response to whatever i said that offended you in the last few posts in the morning. until then, i bid you good night. XOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOX

It has nothing to do with a post count. You earn respect here, just like anywhere else in life. If people see you respond to others in a helpful manner, and not starting bs flame fests, or asking silly questions, then you will get respect.

Yea, exactly. If someone has only 2posts than he/she hasn't "earned" that respect. This still doesn't mean anything though, someone may have a lot of knowledge in the area but still needs to earn that respect of the members ...

back to the original post: i don't like that people use post count as a way to judge if they know what they are talking about when some people (well more than enough) post a shit load in the porn boards :p

thats why when i get advice on people i have to check their cycle experience, older posts, etc. but as one on the night crew i mostly get my advice from the same people, and these guys are great help.

People have never used post count to judge others. That's a myth started by people with low post counts... usually because they haven't been around very long. Truth of it is people are judged on the quality of their posts.

Example - Genarr3 had 7,000 posts. He was a very respected bro. Now he has had to come back under a new handle... Genarr4. He still gets respect... even from newbies even though he only has about 200 posts now. Why? Becasue the vast majority of those 200 posts are thoughtful and intelligent.

If you take the average person with 200 posts... 199 of them are usually pretty worthless.
