Possible Abcess?

Okay I took my first injection yesterday about 9:00 a.m. It was 1.5 Test E and 1 Tren E, I have a lump in my Glute about 1/2" wide by 2-1/2" long and it hurts. It is starting to get a little red, but it is not hot to the touch. I think that when I was injecting I pulled out of the muscle and got some in between. What do you guy's think, I don't want to have surgery or anything like that. I have some Keflex antibiotic, should I start taking them or wait?

Well the "surgery" is just a cut to let the infection drain out. So don't freak about that yet. Also it's too early to tell if it is an abcess or not. Your choice on the antibiotics, but they should work just as well if you wait a couple days as they would right now. You don't want to take them if you don't have to. Do you have enough Keflex for a full course, or a couple left over from not finishing them the last time you had an infection?

wait it out for a day or two; if becomes red and hot to the touch then I would recommend seeing a doctor

Just wait a day or 2 more before you start panicin. Takes a little while for the oil to disperse from the injection point

Thanks guys, the reason I'm paniking is I a couple years ago I had some Test 400 that caused and abscess and the doctor just didn't cut a incesion and let it drain, he put me under and took a bit of my leg and left a pretty big scar. Just makes me nervous!

Really? Shit....start the Keflex now then. Fuck that butcher. It's better to wait a few days though. Surgery should be only if the antibiotics fail to clear the infection. There must have been muscle damage for him to remove a piece of it....or the infection was really bad....like staph or gangrene. Sorry bro, didn't mean to make you worry.

I have, but small, red and itchy with no pain to the touch.. lasted for about a week. I will wait it out..

Well today it is a little more red but the knot is stating to shrink just a bit and there still isn't any heat coming from it.

I get it sometimes. Its like a big red circle around the area i injected, its hot and hurts to touch. Its no big deal, its not an abcess, i had it plenty times. goes away in 3-4 days

Yes, it is pretty much the same but is not really hot to the touch any more.
