Please Scroll Down to See Forums Below hey guys-- I injected 1ml of Sus and 1/2 ml EQ (200mg/ml) into my glute last Sunday-I still have a painful knot there. I know I did not use a long enough needle, so I think all the oil is within the SQ fat. I don't think it is an abscess b/c I used very strict sterile technique and have used these vials of drug previously and have been on antibiotics since Monday. This same thing happened to me at this same site 2 weeks ago, but this time it seems a little worse. The knot is firm and hurts when pressure is applied--I have not felt ill nor had a fever- the overlying skin is a little red and warm to touch. What should I do to get that knot down? How long will it take? I am definitely using longer needles from now on in the glutes. Thanks
poss post-injection complication?!
