I am looking to buy one... i'd prefer to get one that you can charge(if there is even one out there) instead of using batteries cuz they cost too much. anyone know of any like this?? it's gotta be portable and preferably the ones with the arm band so i can use it while training. thanks

You could buy the Ipod. Those are rather expensive though. I bought the Archos one. No complaints, I bought it a year ago, and use it at least three hours a day.

Archos has recently come out with a newer, lighter, sleeker version of the one I have. Should run you 150 for a 10 gig, and 250 for a 30. (I think, I haven't checked prices lately.)

Or you could always buy a used Ipod on ebay, cross your fingers that it doesn't die on you.

Yeah, it has four internal AA's. A recharge can take anywhere from two to eight hours.

I drove from NJ to Florida, and didn't have to recharge it. I turned it off twice. Before you buy on on the net, go to CompUSA or one of those other stores, and check it out. You might not like it. It is a little on the bigger side. I use to when I run, and lift, and have not problems, but you might not care for it.

Check out Ebay, you can pickup an Archos Studio 10 for like 100 bucks. That is easily the best deal out there.

I remember I paid $100 for my RioOne, that thing only held ten songs. I don't even use it any longer.
