Pop's when pushing pin through, veins or scar tissue?

hey all, never felt this before and im an experienced poker, going thru quads, maybe went a little too low instead of upper outter but still hit the outter muscle. i felt a small pop and then a second when pushing the rest of the way. not really painful, but do veins pop like this when punctured? or could i have been pressing through the side of the muscle lining? maybe i didnt hit it completley centered?

I get it all the time. Was it slightly more difficult to push the pin through the area where you heard the "pop" ? If so, chances are it's just scar tissue.

naw man not really thats why it was wierd, it didnt really hurt like scar tissue does sometimes either. what about the latter? the muscle tissue walls? or could that even be possible? thanks mustang, you're a good bro btw, glad to see you're still a round here

Scar tissue bro. Never passed thru a vein and heard a pop and I would have no idea why it, if it was a vein, would create a pop sound.

I get this. It's freaky because it sounds sometimes like a pop and at others almost like you are digging through coral reef. I'm going to try some deep tissue massage and see if that helps lessen it. I doubt it, but anything is worth a try.

your breakeing through the "facia"

which is a sheeth type of material that covers muscle and encases it

in the Quads its very thick

Seems like tendon tissue or something doesn't it? That happened to me today. It only does it in certain spots, and those are usually spots I try to avoid so I doubt it's scar tissue because I don't hit those areas very much at all.

I have a different opinion.

there is a thin muscle cover the quad. it is called Tensor Fascia Latte. Tensor Fascia Latte almost looks like a sheeth coving the muscle, but actually it is a muscle it self.

i speculate that it is thicker in some places then others. so chances are you just went through a thick part of the Tensor Fascia Latte

makes Sense,

I was just talking to an RN I work with about this. Its my least favorite spot to shoot. That fascia can be tough stuff for some people. My crack and pops most of the time. Even changing up or down an inch or 2.

haha yea omega i read you, this is what was thinking, so if i went into then through the other side where might of i injected? will it still be absorbed by my body? or am i in for a world of pain over the next few days? ive got one hit from last monday that is still good and sore a full 7 days later, possibly the same thing i did tonight.

ie noticed that lately when i hit the quads it take longer then the delts or the ass... but then again this summer i pretty much did tren eod in the quads most of the time with the occasional delts

i wrote my answer before I saw yours.

we said the same thing, although that fascia is actually a muscle. Its probably the weirdest muscle that I have seen because it just looks like tissue covering the muscle

Exactly..and it hurts more, too. seems to happen to me the higher on my quad I pin
