pope's passed away

Did jersey have a say in it at all?

At least his suffering is over. He lived a hell of a life.

A remarkable, historic personality. Influenced the history of a quarter century.
I am a non-Christian liberal who had profound differences with his views.
But you cannot ignore his larger than life stature, his intellectual vitality, and his belief in his convictions.
Only people like him can change the course of history.

Whether you liked him or not, religious or not, you have to respect all the man did. Truly a remarkable figure who intended on doing good. Time magazine should have had the Pope man of the year instead of Bush.

Feels like losing a second father.

The world is so much poorer without him.

Stalin How many divisions does the Church have

John Paul The Great: (after the fall of the Soviet Union) Apparently a few more than he thought we did

;)

2 amazing things the man did :

Took four bullets from a would be communist assassin - forgave the man and helped him get pardoned.

Had a massive hand in ending communism in his native Poland.

An example to each and every one of us.

A trully great man who did more for people than anyone......Truly selfless......Destroyed communism.......what i respected most of him is the fact that he condemed the church and asked god in the yr 2000 mass to forgive the church for its past sins and atrocitioes, and for stepping away from God. This man did more to reform the broken church than any Pope be4 him. That is why he was under constant danger. He was not afraid to stand up for the people. He was not afraid to clean up the church..even though this put his life in danger every day. If it were not for him....i woudl probibaly not be in this country today due to the communists. Jan Pawel II .....

Forgiving the man who shot him near fataly 4 times...was just a reflection of this man soul.

Is now with our father....forever......back home....AMEN.

VERY IMPORTANT LET OUR HEARTS NOT BE TROUBLED! JOHN PAUL II always led thru example......he was not afraid of death ...neighter should we....after a 3 days of mourning we should not cry but...celebrate his LIFE.
