Polysorbate 80 smells like shit.

I just started using this stuff today and when appying it to my hair in the shower, it smelled like a horse shitted on my head, thank god I had some nizoral to wash away the putrid smell...and add the fact that the stuff gets really sticky all around it feels like some busted on my head, I am really going to hate washing my hair from this day forth....Am I alone here?? I hope not...

smells fine to me....

make sure you wet your hair thoroughly first and cut the polysorbate with water.and don't put too much on your hand at once to avoid tangles.

There must be something wrong with yours. I just smelled mine and, while it does smell slightly wierd, it smells nothing at all like horse shit or anything even 1/64th as putrid.

i can't compare the smell to anything else...but i guess you can say its kind of a bleachy smell, but nowhere near as potent. it smells "clean"

yeah, same here. Definitely smells like an unfamiliar, soapy smell.

Mine smells SLIGHTLY soapy, but its also alot more putrid smelling. Smells like dead animal hide....

I also ordered mine from there bro, and no one, not a single soul has touched the bottle until I used it today for the first time. It was traumatizing....the smell that is. I looked at the date on the side and it reads "11/05 15569903"....its expired isn't it?

well, not really. spiro is more of a cream. Poly80 is like syrup. but spiro smells like rotten eggs or one of those really bad protein/creatine or egg farts. i know you know what i'm talking about there.
