Pleurisy... OUCH

i've missed 5 days of work in 5 years due to sickness... 3 of those days have been this week... i had pneumonia without knowing and developed pleurisy... holy shit the pain is unreal... i cant breath deep at all without wincing in pain...

ever have it? how did you relieve it (temperary to sleep???)

Coughing also sucks major ass. Sort of like have glass go through your lungs.

i just tried to sneeze but the pain was so sharp my body said "fuck it"... sneeze went away...

this is unreal.. i havent slept in 3 days and i'm bored out of my fucking mind not working... i got a new digital camera and cant stand up to use it... top that off with no eagles in the playoffs and no hope for a superbowl here in my hometown.... 6 miles from me.... i'm back on elite wasting time.

I went to the hospital because I thought I was having a heart attack and it was Pleurisy. They gave me prescription ibuprofen and hydrocodone, it's awful.

thats why i went... after 4 days of pain i thought... this is the worlds longest fucking heart attack or something else is wrong....

i have no pain killers, just antibiotics, and cough medicine though i'm not coughing much now.... he said i need to back off of all physical activity so i can kick this...

i didnt know this was all that common but it sounds like it is...

Dude I had that back in 2000. It was freaking horrible. Spent a few days in the hospital while they did all these tests to find out what it was. Have you ever had a lung scan? omg talk about painful.

yeah that was miserable but as far as I recall mine was viral which goes away on its own
