Please RESPECT Aaliyah's Death.

I read a lot of the comments regarding her death on the internet as well as this site, and I am apalled (sp) as to some of the comments I have seen! Now granted, I am not a fan of R & B music, but from what i have seen from Aaliyah, she carried herself well, wasn't the typical "star druggie", and was very humble about her achievements. I have seen people actually "laugh" and disgrace her death for unhumanitarian reasons! We all know people die every day but some of the comments I read were uncalled for! Would you all say the same if some drug addict, heavy metal, cold hearted entertainer died the same way? Come on people...she was a "good" person! Let's show some respect.

Yes I am apalled to by some of the comments. I did listen to some of her music and it was decent. She was so young and talented and it is tragic. Such a horrible way to go. And for anybody else who thinks otherwise, fuck em. Its just ashame it has to happen to talented good people like her instead of white trash like Eminem. RIP Aaliya.

It is sad that many people are disrespectful. Even if you didn't know her, it is a sad thing that happened.

On the other side of the coin however, what about the other people that were in the crash? No one is saying RIP to them. No one is talking about them in the news or chat boards, Aaliyah was not the only person on that plane, but her fame has overshadowed their deaths in many ways.

I'd like to say i respect her as a human, but I'm so jaded anymore by people in general it's hard for me to even to that about anyone.

I will say this tho, some of her songs I've heard, I actually found to be not too bad, considering I really can't stand the modern day r&b/rap thing. And yeah she did seem like nice kid and not some hooch like that Blu Cantrell bitch that likes to sing about how its good to snag guys money.
