admit it, a nuclear war could be exciting, Im liking this, the days of espionage and double agents was indeed fun. Like an online reality game, Spy vs. Spy, hunter~killer teams like sponge and I. Alternate bombsquads, militias. Drawing up tactical battle plans.
The once exciting cold war turned into a game of politics, we need some action, just a bit, draw battle lines, execute orders, control soldiers in the good vs. evil struggle against Lestat and his minions. Lestat is satan reborn, there, I have said it, Join us. The Federation needs you now!

Those were some of the best days on EF man... mass bombings... people dog piling on..

The thing that ruined it was that a select few just didn't "get it" if you know what I'm saying.. people would really get bent over it and it was as if their lives were over now on EF.. people accused me of driving away some of the best and brightest posters ever to grace the internets.

In reality, it made people MORE active on the board then ever before.. we FINALLY took a break from discussing religion and politics every other thread and gave people something to really get up in arms about, a cause the get behind.. something they could have fun with on here, but leave behind one they stepped away from the computer.

I thought it was cool just to see the coordinated efforts on both sides.. whether it be the Bomb Squad, the resistance, the associates, the Mod Squad, Johnny's Bomb Squad.. etc.. I got to know a whole lot of new good bros throughout the entire thing.

Sadly, those days can't be recreated, but we can all reminice and revel in the memory of it all.

*sigh* I know, EF has mutated beyond that. Its too sensitive now I think. Like sorta softsoap discussion board. Its evolving more and more into civilized discussion. I try and liven things up but its more, like, cant we all be friends. When the internet is a great place to tell people honest to goodness, you are fucking up shit in your life and Im not going to sugarcoat it.
We arent replacement friends for people that always give you support like in real life, cant come by and slash my tires. So we can be buttholes. But EF is life on fast-forward, one minutes sworn enemies the next best friend b/c you agree on the discussion topic. Hmmm, this is a great sociological experiment watching how communications and moods of the boards fluctuate. Its been in a state of pussification for awhile now, I was off for the most part all summer except here and there.
Setting up Stick for a joke and he's ready to leave the board with a sympathy thread. EIG/AAP and that drama.
Im going to figure out a way to molecularly transfer testosterone through the internet and keyboards. Lets just all be glad the political threads have died down, that was gay for awhile

in reality, we don't ALL get along on EVERY topic.. just because we disagree at times doesn't mean one person is a worthless piece of shit.. that's life, this place would SUCK if we were all the same all the time.
