4 Lads from the Parachute company from the 3PPCLI were killed in Afghanistan
I know most of them and there also the 8 injured soldiers in the incident.

I knew personally two of them

Marc Léger, A Dyer, Richard Green, Nathan Smith rest in peace

3PPCLI were training in a designed training area ( firing range) in night firing exercises.
Their position were knew by the command centre and everyone knew why the canadians were there and what they were doing.

Two F16 passed over, first F16 said it received small arm fires and ask permission to reply, the command centre refused the request, but the 2nd F16 dropped a 500lbs bomb with the order NOT TO BOMB ANYTHING.

4men killed, 8 injured.

Stupid Accident let say you are at your at Fort Bragg, firing at paper target and suddenly planes bomb you from Pope!
