Here is my problem. I want to get back into the shape I was 4 years ago when I graduated highschool. I was a all-state linebacker, strong, fast, and lean. Now I am a senior in college and it has all gone to shit. I want to do a CKD diet, but I have no time to really study everything about the diet. So if someone could please give me the "cliff notes" on the diet, I would really appreciate it. And also can someone post all of the things that I can eat so that I can put it all together. I am not lazy, I work 40 hours a week and I am taking 18 credits in school, and I am graduating this May, so my time is very scarce. I really appreciate anyone who can help, thank you sooooo much.

Chuck, I'm not sure if there are "cliff notes" per-se, but on top of this page is a STICKY w/ my CKD manual in it, it's about 10 pages I'm sure you can read it.

If you work and study so much, I would recommend trying something more simple like an isocaloric diet w/ hypocaloric intake. take weight x 12-5%, that's your daily caloric intake
then do a 40% protein/30% carbs/30%fat

Thank you for your quick response Mr. X, you are very helpful. And also, I don't want to sound ignorant, but what are UDO'S?

Udo's EFA blen...try searching for Udo's choice OMEGA oils

Udo's choice oils contain all EFA's (omega 3,6,9) plus they have MCT in them, and taste great. It's a revolutionary product.

I use olive oil for all my healthy fat, would taking UDO's enhance results or does it really matter?

Udo's might help more Ketone output due to the MCT, but nothing drastic. Just add a tbsp. of MCT here and there, I warn you it's REALLY BAD when it comes to taste.

just a note about my UDo's experience, I have been doing low carb type diet for a while without supplementing EFA's. As soon as I started taking UDO's Choice Blend, I gained more energy, I felt much better, and I lost a lot more fat than in my previous rounds on the CKD. It is essential, and even more essential if you do not get enough EFA's daily in the foods you eat, it's a quick and convenient way to do your body some REAL good, and like Mr. X says it tastes awesome, I love the nutty flavor it has, I often look forward to taking it.

Mr. X said that MCT's taste nasty, I was agreeing with him that UDO's choice oils taste great.

well, it does not taste awesome :(

but it is not the reason why you're taking UDO's :)
