hey boys, here's whats happening.
Currently into week 5 of my cycle of 375mg/week of Test enanthate through-out (tbol 50mg/day) for the first 4 weeks.

Start weight: 176lbs
Weight after end of week 4: 193lbs (this including tbols in my cycle)
End of week 4: i took 0.5mg of arimidex and discontinued the use of tbols (as i thought i was getting gyno - but didnt)
Now almost at the end of week 5: 190lbs

Why have i dropped weight from end of week 4, to end of week 5? is it the arimidex, or the no more use of tbols?:worried:

diet has been the same through-out.

Your questioning a 3lb weight loss? I can vary more than that day to day without gear. Throw the scale away, its not how much you weigh, its how you look and feel.

when you see a constant weight increase for 4 weeks in a row and then you go back in week 5, it makes you wonder why? especially on enanthate which should be kicking in now.

You have to realize there are a lot of factors at work. In addition to water you have fat and muscle in the picture etc. Not to mention there is a limit to what what you body can do in a given period of time. If you put on 23lbs in 4 weeks you cant honestly expect to gain another 23 in the next 4 weeks.

As I said, ditch the scale, and go by your looks and performance in the gym or you will drive yourself crazy worrying about your weight. If your this stressed about 3 pounds now your going to be a wreck when you come off.

23lbs up in 4 weeks is alot of weight to go up, in a pretty short period of time. I'd be really happy if i were to put on that kinda weight so fast.

haha nah i wont be distressed as last cycle i put on 22lbs all up but only kept about 12lbs aftet PCT and few months later. But that was primo/prop cycle so no water retention.
btw i have only put on 17lbs (176 to 193lbs)

I agree with this totally. I used to stress if I lost a couple pounds on cycle. Dont drive yourself crazy over it. Its bad enough dealing with coming off lol.

just keep eating big and training heavy. your cycle is really low. you probably wont gain much more.

yea Joe this cycle its not that big, i just wanted to be around 8-9% bodyfat and 187lbs by the end of PCT. Have anavar for the final 4 weeks as well.
my next cycle will be bigger, after my thailand trip and bring back some over the counter goodies

Yup, as others have said the arimidex alone can cause you to drop water weight. Throw in coming off the oral and it's obvious why you lost 3 whole pounds lol.

Also keep in mind that as you gain more you need to eat more. You cannot expect to gain 20+ pounds of mass and keep growing feeding yourself the same as when you first started gaining.

Soooo many guys make this mistake. Hey guys I'm not growing anymore? Should I up my dose to 1gram?

How about reviewing your training and eating more first before assuming you need more gear to gain.

This is just an example.

yep i get ya, its hard to eat more as i get pretty full eating what im eating at the moment (6-7 meals) a day. Any supps i can take to increase the intake or has to be actual food?

Imo if you are REALLY trying to gain than you're best off not being TOO concerned about fat gain.

Fat adds alot of calories. Growth is not just about how much protein intake you get. You could be chowin down 400grams of protein a day and if your carbs and fats aren't high enough to go along with it to put you significantly over maintenance level then you won't be gaining much.

Most of what I have heard about bodybuilders aiming to gain size is to eat alot of protein and eat alot of food period. If that means eating big macs or pb+j sandwiches so be it.

It can get really hard and really old eating +4500-6000 clean calories a day of real food. Personally I don't even think this is ideal for gaining size.

Some of my favorites for gaining weight are tuna sandwiches with the tuna heavily mixed with mayo.

Chili W/cheese, rice and jalapeno's added.

SPAGHETTI. You cook up a big ass batch of spaghetti and use a liberal amount of lean beef in it. Add some black olives. A full size heaping plate of spaghetti with a ton of parmesan cheese sprinkled on top, a small bowl of corn and a glass of milk will pack away a shit ton of calories. Spaghetti is prime bulker food imo and it tastes so fuckin good.

Chicken tenders with buttered mash potatoes and butter rolls.

Burgers with all the trimmings on them.

Home made penne pasta with melted butter poured over it and mizithra cheese heavily mixed in.

I could go on and on.

The keys being A. All this shit is really high in calories and B. Tastes fantastic!

I could care less about whether x meal has this or that much fat or carbs.

3 big ass meals a day like this and 2-3 protein shakes with milk, anpb, and a little ice cream and you will gain weight.

I'm not saying it's gonna be all solid weight, but if you are training hard it'll still probably be 65% or more solid weight.

I think guys are too concerned about maintaining a certain cut appearance when trying to gain weight. They eat perfect low fat foods and try to only eat x amount over maintenance in hopes of gaining pure muscle and wonder why they have a hard time really pushing the size and strength gains.

Now if you are already pretty jacked and looking good then I can totally understand wanting to only gain a couple pounds of well placed muscle on a cycle, but for alot of guys if you haven't developed the mass yet then you are kinda putting the brakes on trying to eat too clean while gaining.

I'll probably get flamed for this.

haha im sure you will, but every one has different goals. I understand completely what your saying, tbh if it was autumn here i would be doing just that to pack on as much size as i can! However its almost spring here so looking jacked is where i wanna be at the moment, thats why im trying to eat as much clean foods as i can. I guess i shouldnt be to worried about what the scale says and just look at the results in the mirror! Feel great at the moment, pumps are big at the gym and looking pretty cut so cant really complain. I just started this thread as i was getting paranoid that my test E could be fake, but realise that my lifts wouldnt be as strong if it was fake! Couldnt off been the Tbols doing all that work! Spaghetti is friggen nice though, defenetly on my agendy for my cheat day on sunday!
