Playing this movie file

So my new cam makes videos, its a picture camera but it also does videos,

640*480 at 30 frames per second, which looks decent. (its a 7.1 Mpixel cam)

However i cant seem to play them. They are in .MOV format, which would mean realplayer, but realplayer 10 keeps telling me it needs to download new software to play it, then automatically does so. Then right after that it tells me I have to install realplayer first. But it´s installed!

what do i do?

Maybe if i get good help with this I can upload a nice vid of my GF this weekend.
