It works, but no one seems to use it. Why do you think that is and how can we make it better?
It works, but no one seems to use it. Why do you think that is and how can we make it better?
I was assuming that the list that pops up was of those that were in the room, just in a private chat. Am I mistaken? As for why no one uses it, I can only speculate. Perhaps all of the technical problems as of late or a security issue. Maybe you just need to get the word out in the form of a mass e-mail or promotion.(ie free report, etc) 
I have no idea how big the Platinum Membership is but to be honest I was a little disappointed. It seems that most don't bother to post here. So the value added with the Platinum may seem hard to justify. I know one of the more attractive features of the Platinum for me was the chat. Sometimes people just like the idea of being able to get an answer to a question immediately. Have people used the chat in the past?
Back to the technical issue. I have been visiting EF on and off pretty much since the beginning.( I have only recently started to post) In my opinion the wealth of info and level of professionalism is still unmatched. However, while the site was down I was looking for info on some other sites(ie,fitnessgeared) and could not help but notice the speed at which the site ran on basically the same format. Could this be because the archives here are so much larger? Anyway my point is, I think it is of CRITICAL importance to work them out. I will always come back to EF but what about the new guy who can't even get on or do a search half the time? He may never get a chance to make a fair decision. Just my 2 cents.
Btw, I do not mean this to be negative. I love this site. Just trying to give a little constructive criticism. I know it's probably nothing you guys don't already know better than me. Just thought it was worth addressing while I had George's attention.
