Platinum Chat not working

Anybody else having difficulty connecting to the server? The window pops up and says it's connecting to elitefitness.com, and then eventually the window says this :

Unable to Connect
The VolanoChat applet failed to connect to the VolanoChat server because of one of the following conditions:

The VolanoChat server is full. Please try again later.
The VolanoChat server is temporarily down for maintenance. Please try again later.
You are trying to connect from behind a firewall. Please contact your network administrator for configuring a SOCKS proxy.


What's the dilly? I'm assuming it's because I'm at work and behind a firewall. Can somebody post how to configure my SOCKS proxy, or which port I have to have opened, or ?!?!?

Or maybe I should just be working at work instead of chatting?

Shit, I'd be happy if I got that. All I get is a blank white box. No nuthin' in it. I'm bumpin' for any help from anyone.....

Freshr, thats prolly a question George will have to answer. Joker, in your internet options, do you have it set up to allow java applets?

I get the box. with current users listed off to the right...but either everyones in private chat and no one talks at all in the main room..or something is screwed up for me also.

All settings for Java are set to allow them, but I still get a blank white box. Could there be another setting elsewhere that I need to check? I've never had problems running anything before, just this....It's gotta be a setting or a driver upgrade I need....Any ideas?
