in defense of George it might have been an option that I chose - I really don't recall at all.
hell, I was at the doctor's today and in the span of 15seconds forgot that the woman at the desk had already given me my change - so I was standing there looking confused for a bit.

Legally, any company accepting a recurring (as in subscription basis) charge HAS to allow a clear, simple way to cancel the payments.

Congress passed a bunch of laws like this called anti-slamming laws or something.
