Plasma TVs...any advice??

guys what causes the main difference in prices on plasma TVs?? For example for a 50" they go from the high 2,000 up to high 4,000. Yes you can say depends on the brand. But Panasonic has like 5 or 6 different models of 50" Plasma and they are between 3,000 and 6,000. What is the difference between them if they all have that nice Plasma quality?

i have a dlp. its a 50 inch samsung. it cost $2500. its an awesome tv. when i got this, i was looking at plasma and lcd's and i thought they all looked great. the reason i got dlp is because they are much more reliable. plasma can often have the little pixels blow out, but dlp does not work by pixels, its works with a bulb in the back that will last 8 years or so. and when you get a new bulb, the tv is as good as new. the thing with dlp tvs is that you can't hang them on a wall cause they're too big and heavy. so i'd get a dlp unless you want to hang it on a wall.
