Plane #4 Shot Down

I heard on the stern show that there were people that witnessed the plane in the sky and it blowing up. And seconds after 2 fighter jets flying by. My heart goes out to the families of the people aboard. Our government made a decision to take american lives in the hopes of saving many more. I for one think they made the right decision. But I could understand the heartack the families will have in dealing with this. Our government has denied this as of today and rightfully so. Im sure as things get sorted out, they will live up to this.

I thought the same thing yesterday. There were reports that fighters were tailing a passenger jet that wasn't responding and then you didn't hear anything else about it. Can you post the source for me please?

I, too, wouldn't believe it until that is confirmed by authorities (if it ever is). I saw eyewitnesses in Pennsylvania on the news yesterday saying they saw the plane fly low overhead and basically nose dive hard into the ground. None of them said anything about the plane being damaged, smoking or on fire before crashing. If it had been shot down by fighters, the thing would've either blown up in mid-air because of the full fuel tanks, or at least been smoking or on fire.

I think it's more likely, as was reported earlier, that a small group of passengers attempted to overtake the hijackers, and either the plane got out of control and was unrecoverable or the pilot crashed it on purpose.

The govt. is denying the shooting down of any passenger airliner yesterday- they did say, though, they were preparing to do just that should the situation repeat itself today- and jet fighters were buzzing the skies here all yesterday afternoon waiting for another plane to enter our airspace.

I don't buy it. I saw the same witnesses on tv last night also. Plus there are the cell phone conversations that have been reported about people attempting to take the plane back.

I FUCKING HATE SPECULATION! This is no time for people to be making unsubstantiated claims about this. What are peoples' compulsions with lying? And for those who say the government is hiding the "truth" from us, I say BULLSHIT! Everyone needs to get off their god damn conspiracy theories. Can't post the source for I heard it on Stern. Of course on stern you never know what to believe but the caller sounded sincere about it. He just said that he was driving down the road and heard a loud noise. Looked up and saw a plane flying very low. He got out of his car because he has never seen any aircraft flying near the area and thought it was odd. He then saw it explode in the air and crash. Seconds later two fighter jets flying by behind it. That is why it went down in an unpopulated area. I think the media has done a good job to keep that on the down low until things are sorted out.

This guy is an asshole and obviously a fucking media hound. Some people are obsessed with getting their fifteen minutes of fame. If this asshole were "sincere" why the fuck is he calling a low life like Stern?

Freakshow knock it off....a lot of us believe that we never find out the whole or even much of the real truth behind these events, and speculation is a way to reach such truths.

if it aint confirmed on cnn and i mean CONFIRMED then it can't really be believed right now (and even then confirmations have been changed and re-visitied)

there's so much information floating around it's hard to say what's fabricated and what's true...

although i did see 2-3 interviews with people who saw the plane go down and mentioned NO SUCH THING...

they said they saw, and i paraphrase a little "a plane, it was flying too low and there's no airports in the area so they knew something was up.. then moments later there was a big ball of flames from the woods/field in the distance..."
