pizza when bulking

what is wrong with pizza when bulking, it has breads, cheeses, tomato sauce, vegetables??? it has a high protein and carb count, and can supply you with many cals??
 
You'll find a lot of people can rationalize eating anything while "bulking." Those are the same people who end up adding 15 or 20lbs, half of which is fat, and they wonder why.

It depends on how serious you are about your diet. If you don't mind adding fat, then eat whatever you want. But pizza is not good for the following reasons:

Crust = white bread = high GI carb = bad
Sauce: most pizza sauces have sugar in them.
Cheeze: loaded with saturated fat
Protein: precious little even if you get it with meat. And pepperoni and sausage are one of the worst protein sources.

Another inherent problem is that people tend to eat more pizza than they actually want or need based on it's size. True bulking means eating 90% clean, like you would when cutting, only you eat more. It's up to you.
 
When bulking I eat pizza once a week. Maybe once every 2 weeks.. I do it more to just keep my sanity from dieting though rather than the nutrients from pizza. I manage to stay pretty ripped though eating pizza once a week, so if bulking then go for it.. Just make sure not to over eat on it. If you over eat every week then it can catch up to you..
 
they should start making "DIETERS PIZZA" made from whole wheat,low fat cheese,............that be nice

When cutting, I'll make my own pizza and have it once or twice a month..

Use the pizza crust you make yourself, a lo lower carbs than the ones that are already pre made, add fat free cheese, top with lots of lean ground beef or chicken. Pizza sauce has sugar, but not really worried about it since I'm kind of rewarding myself for sticking on my diet. Also top with mushrooms, peppers, and what other veggies I choose. High in protein, low in fat, medium carbs and tastes really good.
 
Bulking Just Wasn't Meant to Be Fun

I've bulked a couple ways (all while on medium-high doses of AAS):

- Bulked clean (other than a weekly cheat day), high protein,etc,etc - Gained about 30 pounds 20-25 being muscle, nice!

- Bulked dirty - Ate any damn thing I wanted including alot of pizza,etc. Gained about 30 pounds, 20-25 being FAT

On gear or not bulk clean or you'll have one hell of a cutting cycle to endure when you're done!

Pizza is not a good choice for bulking whether you are on Juice or not!

and by the way... there are places that make pizza with wheat bread
instead of the traditional white....
 
I'/ve been trying to bulk clean, but pizza is all they have where I eat and its really cheap. I try to avoid it but, I always use the excuse to myself "I'm bulking".
