My current live-in g/f got a phone call from a friend last night asking her to go out for a couple drinks. I had no problem with her going for a couple with her friend so I told her to go and I would just stay in and watch a movie. I'm not much into bars or clubs anymore myself. We're both pusing 40 and I haven't gone out to clubs much at all in the last 10 years.

She said she wouldn't be gone too long, so I finished watching my movie and went to bed. Well, she crawled in the door, waking me up a 6:15 this morning. I asked her where she was till this time and she gave some excuse about going to a party after the bar and then being unable to find her way back. The bars here close at 2:30, so it took her 4 hours to find her way back home?

Of course, I was pissed off at her and got a bit angry, just a little, mind you, no accusations or yelling, etc. She tries to make it sound as if I'm overreacting. I think I have every right to be angry. She would flip out if I went out with my friends at midnight, and then didn't show up till the morning smelling of alcohol.

I would be concerned if I woke up at 5am and my husband was not home yet. If he were going to stay out until the next morning, I would think he would call me to let me know, so I wouldnt worry.

Yup, that last word is the kicker. It sounds fishy too, the excuse of not finding her way back, even if she did party a while after the bars closed. Should've checked to see if her panties were damp on the sly....

Turns out her friend was slutting it up and picked up some young dude 20 years her junior to bring home with them (good for him btw ).

My g/f's ex was also at this party.

I wouldnt take that for very long, if im running late or something does come up, I give a call and give them a heads up so they dont worry, its just common since, and I would expect to be treated the same way. And I would deffinatly let her know your pissed, she may try and do it again.

Women around that age, especially ones that hang around local dive bars -- are pretty slutty. It's the mid-life-crisis phase for women, where they pretend they were in college again, trying to be "girls gone wild" with bodies that don't match up.

I got into shape, and worked hard to get some $... So, I could get girls.
