So I've recently been taking Piracetam in order to help with my memory. I had an accident when I was a child that I received a concussion from. Basically my memory issue was like this: difficulty remembering what I was doing, forgetting where I was going, thinking it was a different time or day, and if I had locked my door.
I've been taking:
-Piracetam (3,200-4,800mg [3.2-4.8g])
-Choline (930mg [.93g])
-Theanine (Not sure, drinking 4 cups green tea though)
-Theobromine (Not sure, eating 2 grams 70% caco chocolate bar. The cacao also has some form of Choline in it, I read it somewhere.)
-DMAA (40mg)
-Caffeine (100mg, not including coffee)
I've been taking the Piracetam and Choline (caffeine as well through coffee) for 8 months, and have noticed a nice turn around in my memory. It took around 2 months before I noticed (yea, see...memory issues LOL) that I wasn't forgetting that much anymore. I added Theanine and theobromine (after reading that they help elevate GABA, which in return would help improve the effectiveness of Piracetam) last week. I'm noticing I'm experiencing a more focused attitude, like while the Piracetam is active in my system, when I am either learning something or actively doing something. I also feel as if I'm a tad bit more articulate now that I've added these to taking my Piracetam. Not that I wasn't experiencing all this before with just the Piracetam and Choline, but I can definitely tell that L-Theanine (from green tea) and Theobromine (from chocolate) are definitely working in synergy with the Piracetam.
I'm considering adding DMAA to the list and lowering caffeine down. Is there anyone that can help me to understand DMAA a little more. Like side effects, how they started your dosages. Any help would be great. I've only looked at the Wiki article so far, on it just now...and I see two US soldiers dying caused the US Military to conduct a "military investigation".
