Ok so i got these Syringes that i used when i had dogs i used to give them their own shots and everything. So i have like 80 of these they have a 3ml holding area. They are 22gx3/3 of an In.. So would these be too small for glute shots ive seen people using the 1 in for glutes im just wondering how far you actually have to go with the shot i will get the 1 1/2 in needles if i have to. I already have the plunger and everything i will just use those to get the oil and then change to the 1 1/2 after that if i have to. Let me know what you guys think.

you should use 1.5 for glutes b/c you want to be careful not push the pin all the way in (if you do and it breaks--well, your f*cked)---if you are shredded--you may be able to pin with a 1 inch--me, i need a 6 inch elephant pin to get through my fat ass

Ha ha ha ha you make me lmao bro.....Well its pretty cheap to get the 1.5 in pins so i will just get them then to be safe i guess. I do not want one to break off in my ass that would suck major ass. Thanks Eddymerckx

a friend is (actually was) an er doc and he says they used get them every once in a while and its alway someone doing a big shot of gear in their glute with a narrow needle and ends-up bending it too much because the angle and you torque it so much trying to get the oil out.....he indicated the pain is rather severe b/c every step you take it moves around.

I injected one time and not realizing the force I was placing on the needle and pulled it out tearing some muscle tissue along the way. I bent the needle so badly that now I keep it as a souvenir and as a warning sign!

Ok you fuckers are starting to scare me a little bit. Lol for real though do you have to push that hard to get the oil out. I am going to be extremely careful when injecting especially since ill be doing my own injects.

You shouldn't push that hard. You don't want to force the oil in very fast. Just keep steady pressure on the plunger and it will go in slow and steady. Just take your time.

Thats what im going to do SLOW and steady lol. I will be very careful. That would suck for a needle to break off in my ass. I cringe thinking about it.

It took me a little bit to get the motion down right, especially aspirating which can be hard sometimes when you do your glutes. But just make sure that you don't move the needle around a lot in your muscle cause it'll hurt more and bruise a little if you do that. Nothing major -- it goes away in a couple days -- but just uncomfortable. Also if you don't move it around then there is little chance that the needle will break off. You'll get the hang of it in a couple shots.

1.5". try to avoid akward positions when trying to pin. this sounds stupid but stretch thoroughly. i cramped up my obliques something fierce one time doing a glute shot.
