Pinning tips/tricks...

Do you guys have any?

I've done a lot of reading and have the basic concept of it down, but some if it seems like it would be difficult.

Like when pinning the glute's...isn't it difficult to aspirate it? Can you pin anywhere in the glute, or is their a specific spot? Same goes for the quads, delts, etc.

Any tips or tricks would be appreciated.

ALWAYS aspirate. It may be a little difficult at times to see back there but, the alternative sucks. lol The upper glut area works well. You may want to warm up your gear with running water first.

I warm up the gear in the oven for a few minutes. If u do it in the quad u wanna do it in the middle of the quad but on the outter edge. The middle delt u want to stick if u r doinf the shoulder.

+1

I found it much easier to inject when heated. I used a heating pad to heat it up...worked great.

Also it is so much better to inject in the upper glute. Easier to reach and aspirate.

rub the injection spot with hot water after injection. it will make the oil move faster and help avoids lumps.

also, you can inject near the muscle group that u are training. inject in glutes or quads if u have lower body. inject in shoulders if u have upper body. if blow flows near where u injected, it will help the oil move faster and it will become less painful sooner.

i just shove in quads , easy to do ur self and aspirate, first few times painfull though, heat up the syringe with the compounds in it, and massage area after, and before

The thing to watch when locating the muscle head for an inj site, is to look for the middl;e thickest part of the muscle. Everyone has different muscle placement. Quads are a good example. Just look at BBers lined up on stage & you will see a huge variation in where their 3 visable heads are located. So sites like "Spotinjections.com" are only a guide. Of course it does help to be lean enough to see the separation :)

I always have problems with the BA levels of the gear, so I take benadryl about 20 minutes before I inject, seems to help a little bit with the soreness/swelling.

Swirl vial, place in hot water, swirl again, wipe injection site with alcohol, wipe stopper with alcohol, extract dose, pull skin to one side (z-tracking) drive needle into muscle, aspirate, inject as slowly as I can. I don't rub because it hurts, probably due to me mixing two types of esters. Done.

It's easier to do glutes if you work at an angle, almost going in through the side of the cheek. I find the middle of my quads, slighty to the outside of my knee to be the best place, and z-tracking helps avoid veins and helps with the pain in the legs when going in.

I prefer to pin with very small needles, 27g. The scarring is less, not to mention the soreness the next day.

When doing thick compounds I draw up in the syringe with 18g, then taking the needle off, put it in the microwave for 8 seconds. This will warm it up a lot faster and better than sticking it under running water and making a wet mess.

Take out, put the syringe back on, by the time I get my clothes off (area specific) and wipe down with the alcohol pad, the juice is ready to go.

Since I started this last year, I have never ever had a bruise or a lump or a slow moving injection.

Why is the glute so popular? It seems as though the quad or the delt would be easiast for self injections.

glutes hurt less, even when its high concentration gear.. also less limit to mobility than say a quad or delt shot. i do quads and gluts, and ventreal.

Ice the spot where you will inject until its numb, and completely relax the muscle. Like if you inject into your right glute, put all your weight on your left leg, just use your right for balance. Always massage well after the injection.
