k, i know this has nothing to do with training, and i appologize for posting it here, but i trust the people on this board to not give me bad advice. im gonna pierce my own ear lobe, and i was wondering if anyone knows exactly what i need to do. i know i need to sterilize the needle and my ear, but im not sure what to do to maintain it so it doesnt get infected.
again, sorry for posting this here but i dont wanna get bad advice from the people on the other boards here.
I like you Lee, dont know why but I really like you bro. (Not in a gay way dont worry)
anyways,
You may want to Ice it a bit, but it doesnt hurt very much so thats up to you.
Get a Potatoe to hold behind your ear...This gives you a good base for the needle to enter upon penetration.
I actually do not recomend using a needle, I would use either the Stud your gonna have in there or just some earing that you can get a good grip on.
Soak it in Alcohol or Hydrogen Peroxide before you use it.
Just get it centered where you want it and punch that bastard through. You will hear a "pop" but there will not be much pain at all if any. trust me, it freakin painless, and after that locker incident you had it will feel like an itch.
I would remove it only for a second every other day and put some Polysporin/Neosporin on it. Keep the area generally clean and if it gets red and starts to hurt...take it out. It could be infected or even that your allergic to the metal that you used, this is why you should use a good silver, surgical steel, or gold earing.
Keep us posted, you Pirate you, Arrrg.
