Those were pits and that isn't funny.

I hope that dog has excellent eyesight and chews off your nuts.
he fought the pits, had the boxer as a house dog. He's a good bro.

He is a good looking boy.

What are you feeding him?
its a friend's dog, she feeds him some vet reccomended kibbles and he makes a huge mess of it.

Nice Lestat.

Within the past week I've bought a good fixed blade knife and a large Mountainsmith pack. Next week will be a 2 lb tent and a GPS navigation device.

I plan on doing some deep wilderness hiking/camping
and some bikecamping this year.

I will have both, but probably will be too lazy to use the old school way. Plus there's a lot I still need to learn.

i'm all about the backwoods expeditions
got some good gear, though my tent could use a upgrading.
a compass is super easy to use with a map btw.
sun rises on the east, sets in west, etc.

and i've always thought a good bike camp would be fun
though strenous and maybe impossible on some trials
imagine climbing switchback single tracks with heavy ass saddle bags?
that would blow...proly be better to do a road bike camp trip than trial.
kayak/canoe camp for a few nights would be fun too

I've never been in the woods for longer than a few daytime hours as a child (setting fires, drinkin moonshine, smoking joints, fingering chicks, etc.).

I'm "supposed" to take vaca in a few weeks and plan to at least spend a day hiking. I will probably die.

Those were the days, lol. Where I grew up we did all that in flat corn fields. Geography changes nothing, :p

Oh yeah...I love the dog! The Boxers I've known are sweeties. As for the clear blue sky and your slightly sweating looking neck, I'm jealous. The only time I get wet outside is from rain. No sweat here.

Do you take your hydration pack with you snowboarding?

I started doing this recently and man it is a lifesaver. Not just the water aspect, but I take snacks (so I dont have to buy a $9 burger), mp3 player, multi-tool, sunglasses, eyedrops, chapstick and joints to smoke. :)

sometimes, yeah, its great to be able to get some water whenever you want.

I already pack snacks and sunscreen, chapstick, face mask, etc in my cargo pants. I wear Burton Ronin and they have a TON of storage.
