Physician-prescribed Testosterone

I looked around the messageboard and couldn't find the answer, so sorry if this has been asked before....

I have an appointment with my doctor to get my blood work done. Not sure how it will come out, but I figured it was the wise thing to do before I do anything outside my natural supplementation.

Hypothetically, assuming he has the ability to prescribe testosterone based on the results that come back, what type do they normally prescribe? I've seen talk on websites of creams and gels, but seems like doctors also prescribe injectable versions too. Is it as effective as gear (Test-E, Test-C, etc)? Thanks!

I would go to a Urologist. Blood work, ie. test levels, are not the bottom line for a test script. When or if they come back normal you will need to sharpen your acting skills. I'm not saying you should lie, but you need to keep saying phrases like, "But Dr. I have no sex drive!" Or, "My levels may be normal but I'm just not interested in having sex." Or,"My wife/girlfriend is concerned too!"
Do you see where I'm going with this.
Now the Dr. knows that test levels alone are not the only cause, so ask him straight out if boosting your test levels is possible. "Gee Doc, are there some pills I can take or something?" Keep pushing until you at least get an Androgel script. You can always come back in a month and tell him you feel hornier than a 5 peckered goat! Make him think he's the worlds greatest Dr.
"But the gel is kinda messy. And I sweat it off." Act stupid and say,
"Are there some pills I could take instead?" (There aren't) but he doesn't know what you know. If he doesn't offer injectable Test. You will have to prod him. You can take it from here...........:light:

How much does it cost to get it from a dr.... appts and all.... and will they give you bottled test? I'd qualify for sure. And will they give you at least 250 mgs per week

Thanks HC...

I already have the "my wife thinks I should find out why I don't want to have sex" complaint lined up....along with, "I'm feeling really tired lately" just for good measure (it's not really acting, aren't we all tired of banging our wives?....hehe).

Is the prescribed, injectable test the same, better, or worse than "gear" such as Test-e? I don't know much about the prescribed versions, but I've learned alot about dosages, etc for test-e from this site...

Maybe another way I can ask this question. Would you bros rather get your Test from your source or from a doctor?

He will give you a script for probably 75mg BIW twice a week. Either Test Enth. 250mg/ml or Test Cyp.200mg/ml. It's the same shit. Try to get a years worth of refills on your follow up visit. This is Phama grade shit! :)

Also...Get a box of 3 ml, 25g X 1" syringes w/ needle. Test is not covered by most insurance. I pay about $80 a bottle at Walgreens, they will sell you the pins too. Good luck.

I'll bill ya. :)

What's BIW mean, as in 75mg BIW? (sorry, if that's a dumb question).

80$ for 10 cc's? Damn. It's cheaper on the black market. Usually it's the other way around.

sorry bro, he needs to see an endocronologist, not a urologist.

It costs $100 a week for 100mgs of gel PER WEEK if you don't have insurance and you pay for it out of pocket where I am from.
Having insurance is huge.
Consider yourself lucky if you get a dr that prescribes more then that.
In my area they only do the gel too.
