Physical questions

37 year old with a physical coming up this week. It's been forever since I've had a full physical. I'd love to get on a prescribed hrt program. What types of symptoms should I mention to the doc? I already know I will be getting blood work done (I requested this).

I know my test levels will be low since when I had my vasectomy a few years back, because of undescended testes as a kid, I had some scar tissue they needed to remove and basically took half of one with this procedure.

To be honest, I do have a libido problem, I just don't get the urge (this is the primary reason my marriage ended). It's not that they don't work, but I just never have the urge. I don't need a prescription for Virga, but something for my drive, I'm hoping with this fact and my blood results, I will be put on an hrt program, I just am curious what other things I can tell the doc, to help my chances of getting put on one of these programs.

Problems with sexual desire and erection. Feeling sluggish tired etc.

i'd just take matters into your own hands and get a hold of some steroids. doctors just don't go around passing out vicodin and testosterone. at least ones that hope to keep their license...

The key is the blood test. Be certain that all hormone levels are checked, not just the normal panels. You want test, free test, esto, thyroid, PSA .. the works. This testing gives you the data and the Dr the legal justification for prescribed drugs.

If you run into a brick wall ... follow Target's advice and self administer about 100 mg of test p for 8 weeks and see the dif.

Welp, blodd was drawn, the test test hasn't come cack yet, but the results of the other 3 blood tests did, this is the one that concerns me:

Not only does it appear my cholesterol level is high, but they LDL chol, is the part. My concern is the fact that i have been on a keto diet for the last 8 weeks. I was under the impression that LDL levels would drop typically. Doesn't look like that is the case, unless my levels were much higher before I switched.

Welp the results are in, not real detailed other than this:

I was thinking about going the same route as you. Is being 31 years old too young to go on test therapy? I am going to schedule a physical soon and I want to know if I have a shot at getting a perscription if my levels are low enough. Thanks.

You mentioned low libido (desire) problem. Look into to Dostinex for that. A U.S. doc won't prescribe it for you. Do a google search for an overseas pharmacy.

I have a question... who's the best doctor to see about being placed on HRT? I'm pretty sure my doctor does it for his patients... I know an endocrinologist is probably the first choice? What about a urologist? I know guys that are on HRT through their urologist?
