PhotoReading?

Has anyone heard of this reading system before? It supposedly helps a person read several times faster by training him to use his subconscious and read a page from a book in a matter of seconds and assimilate all of the information as though he read it word by word. Sounds awesome but also sounds like a prime candidate for infomercial scam.

I'm considering investing in the self-teaching version of the program. There's a money back guarantee, and American Express covers me if they fail to honor it, but I still want to do research before taking any significant steps.

I heard the class was like $1,000 or something. Is it as good as the ads say? Can your friend read through a small English dictionary in an hour and then know the definition of "conjecture" or "philanthropy" if you ask him 2 days later?

I don't know how detailed it was.

All I know is that he took it, but once I start school on Monday i'll ask him for you for exact details.

He took it here in NYC at a college during the summer.
