hey guys anyone know of some good gyms either near market east or broad street i am visitng a bud for a while adn don;t want to miss any workouts, i figure running from teh knife wielding kids in the ghetto will be enough for the cardio side

I'm in NY now...but i use to live in Center City.

I was a member at World Gym, on 20th and Sansom. Broad Street = 14th streeet, so you are 6 blocks from Broad Street. Lot of good fellaz there and the owner also owns 2 gentlemen's Club, so you may see a few of the ladies working out in the day time...hehehe

I was a member at 12th street gym (12th, between locust and walnut), but left. Was hit on a few times from some of the gay members who have no reservations about openly showing affection towards each other. Now this was 4yrs ago, so things could have changed by now.

Lastly, i was a member at a spot on 18th and Market. but this is one of those Corporate Spots, that gives you a towel and all that other crap. Great Saunas, but a lot of stuck up people.
