I can quite willingly admit there are 'conservative' points and initiatives I wholeheartedly agree with. I also do not dismiss every person who disagrees with me as an 'idiot' and a commie who hates my country. You cannot have any credibility if you arbitrarily close your mind and dig in your heels and scream 'nah nah nah nah nah' anytime someone puts forth a point of view you do not like. It is also difficult to maintain credibility in a debate if you intersperse EVERY single post with a dripping contempt for your opponent and do everything possible to denigrate them.

That said, I agree with jnevin. I like him and think he's a funny guy. He's intelligent and adds to the whole EF community. Just relax a little.

is phenom your alter....LOL. There are plenty of people on both sides, liberal and conservative, that make intelligent and valid points. Redguru and longhorn come to mind as smart conservatives who most times are able to argue intelligently. Big Nate and Bluepeter are definitely just as smart. I think the conservatives just far outnumber us on here.
