Pesonal Health Issue

Ok, maybe covered in ancient history, but I think, with all the serious stuff in here, it should be covered. Please forgive my spelling as I are an enganear.

You people over 40 think about colon check ups? Do you know your family history of Colon problems? If someone in you family was diagnosed with colon polops or cancer you stand a greater risk of cancer there than others. Bad subject, but it could be your LIFE.

1st is my example. Co-worker, friend, was 53 and never was checked. He had medical problems but not related to his colon. They found a 1 foot section infected. BUT it had already spread to his LIVER. He survived, god only knows how, for 4 years. But, after surgery and every possible treatment, he succumbed to this disease.

Point? If your family has a history, get checked early. If you don't, by age 50 get checked. It could save your life.

Family history is part of it the rest...

My Aunt recently had a complete hysterectomy and cecum, (last part of the colon) resection due to cancer.
No history of cancer in the family.
She smokes, drinks coffee and booze her entire life and not much else.
No execise, crappy diet, thin and emaciated apppearance...
All the warning signs, change in bowel movements, frequency, color, texture, blood, night sweats...

She is still alive and STILL doing the smoking, coffee and booze...

She now coughs alot, and get hoarse easily and winded, tired.

Guess what I bet lungs...

But my Family doesn't listen to me.

Good post Bro...Same with a prostate exam. Nobody wants to have some Dr. stick their fingers up your ass and check your prostate but it is a wise decision to have an exam done once a year especially if you are running AAS. You would rather find out early then be diagnosed with prostate cancer and possibly die. It's better to be proactive than reactive

family history of heart disease is crucial too. Its the number one killer in this country and one of the easiest diseases to prevent...SOmetimes genetics can out weigh other aspects of your life though. I WO 5-6 days a week for years now and eat pretty clean...but my HDL's are always low...thanx to my dad
