Personal Info available to Moderators???? Security???

Ok, I admit that I've not read all 367 threads about smalls/leaks/passwords..... etc... so forgive me if this has come up but


Part of all this hub-bub was that smalls and others had access to member's personal info because they/she had a Mod's password.

Here's my problem..... These "Moderators" should NOT have access to my personal info either!!!!!

Who the hell are these people anyway..... I don't want them to know where I live, what my credit card number is, what my email addresses are.

I paid for my platinum membership with a credit card.... and George Spellwin, EF Chris (took my call), and limited Accounts Receivable people should be the ONLY people who have access to ANY of my personal info. A few of these "moderators" are losers who I wouldn't ever want to meet, let alone give them access to my personal info.

Let me say this again.....These moderators should NOT have access to my personal info!

all that just depends.. it depends on what kind of connection the user is using. It is quite simple actually.

My question stems from a post BKMom made to me. She told me to run to the mod board and look what she posted. I simply stated I would not because then you could track the handle that I was using. I believe her and one other mod replied that this was not possible. So my question would be can the mods or admin track handle names as they navigate through the board?

For instances: It may read like "BO-CEPHUS replying to thread in chat and conversation".

Lets say smalls got ur password, then was posting under your name, a simple IP search can tell that it was her isp and not yours….shit she wouldn’t even have to post…just log on with you password.

I don't know about who is responsible, nor do I care at this point...... Like I said before, banning someone is not a fix, cause they can come back....

I was just bringing up the fact that several MODS had said that the reason was security, and now I've just learned that the MODS don't even have access to anything but IP addys..... so I was mis-lead....... I tried to find one of those (300+) threads that stated this but I think several of them were deleted for some reason.


..... I would like to say that of all the mods, Wodin and Corn are among the few I respect. (well, may there are only a few that I dis-respect)

Manny....the thing is there ALOT of people here who don't seem to have better things to do or maybe they do but they aren't doing them. In a way, yes, it IS because it's Smalls. Her actions were extremely stupid but she wasn't trying to hurt anybody. She is an honest, sweet girl. She even asked Bouncer for advice regarding the fact that she had this MOD password if I'm not mistaken. I would not be on her side had she planned to use any of the information she was privyed to to hurt anybody. Anything else she chooses to do or who she talks to or how much she posts is none of my business.

True, the administration can ban any member for no reason, whatsoever. However, double standards have already been presented and there is a certain degree of singling out and discrimination going on here.

In theory, you could say that "yeah, I own this board so I can kick anyone I want off of it" but when you have other members on here, you must treat everyone equally and have a truly legitimate reason to do this.

The legitimate reason is still in question (at least for other members) so you can't fall back on the "no reason to cut you loose" clause in the TOS.

Why are YOU so strongly dead set on banning me, man? Haven't you ever heard of second chances? What'd I ever do to you? Why do you spend so much of your personal time plotting to end my time here? Jesus man, buy a freaking PlayStation 2.
