People with small dogs. Question.

I'm sure not all of you do this, but why do so many of you bring those little hellians with you wherever you go? My ex's cankle infested family all had these little, poorly trained, yippy, begging at the table little shits, knew I didn't want them at my house, but brought them anyway. I have friends that do this, and have been seeing a girl whose friend does this, even though I've asked her not to. I love dogs, I have a dobie that's treated better than most children, but I don't bring him everywhere unannounced and never without asking if it's ok. Does anyone think this is as rude as I do? Or am I an asshole?


I know I'm an asshole, but I'm wondering about this situation in particular.

I know what your saying, Theres a flea market where im from and they have a very limited amount of carts to roll around the market
and when my kids were small it was awful trying to carry them around and stuff and id look for a cart and lo and behold some person would have their danged dog in it

Thing is, I've directly and politely asked these people not to bring their dogs. They get excited and piddle on the carpet, once on my bed. (threw that mattress away I was so pissed) They bark and get in my dog's face, which upsets him, causing him to let out 95 lb. dobie thunder barks and I can't relax. I worry that one of these little yippers will bite him and he'll return the favor and kill them. That would be bad. My dog isn't allowed on the furniture but these people let their dogs on it, even after I've asked a numer of times for them not to. I swear I'll microwave the next one that comes in the house.

I have two Jack Russells.. I do not take them anywhere unannounced either. If someone is coming to my house, I tell them to expect dogs. If they do not like dogs, fuck'm....

Mine are well behaved, but do get excited at first with a new peson, and may jump up, or lick them, especially my female, who is 2, but then settle down quickly.

Yeah, if people come to a house with dogs, they are in someone's home and should respect that. I just don't get why some folks bring theirs where they're not welcome and act clueless when I act annoyed and take an hour and a half at the grocery store when I go out to get a coconut or something.
