why do the majority who do that get the mentality that they earned it themselves??? i don't understand that aspect or the ones who go long enough to qualify for another student loan and then after they get it they take the semester off. wtf?

it was always a fucken problem. I hardly have any debt - and the stuff I do have will be gone in 4 months anyway.

yep those are the ones i'm talking about...

my soon to be ex buddy gets 20-30k (no idea how) each time and has changed his major about 3 times. he has no real plans to graduate but when asked he says he's almost done. its been 6 years already... he just likes acting successful with loan money behind him and brags to anyone that listens. he buys bikes/trucks/cars with that money and takes time off school because his "job" is getting in the way... the fucker barely gets 20hrs a week but it's a commission job. so he figured the maximum he can make in a day or hour and tells people he's getting full time pay(keep in mind he can't sell shit) so he doesn't sound like a loser i guess. The hilarious part is he wanted to up his image and really live the dream. he tried to get a loan to buy a house. i told him it didn't matter if he made a grand a day. they don't count commission so at the end of the day you're making 8 bucks an hour 20 hours a week... he pays for everything cash so he has no credit. he didn't believe me. went to his bank and went through the process of getting checked out for it like a baller and pretty much got laughed at. he bragged to a lot of people about the house he was getting beforehand and now when asked why he didn't get it. he says he's looking for something bigger...

bottom line... i'm not the one who's going to have to pay his loans back. so i guess i shouldn't really care.. it just pisses me off if we're out at a club or anywhere in general and a chick comes up to me. he'll butt in the convo and the first words out of his mouth are bashing me and what i do.
