People are stupid!!

I went over to friends for dinner last night and we were talking about my working out. I'm not big (yet) but everyone knows I work out very hard (every day at 6am) and they see me falling asleep at these dinner parties all the time once it gets past 11pm.

So I mention that soon I'm going to be starting a cycle of "prohormones" (my way of getting people ready to see me grow and not freak out.)

Well, you would have thought I said, "Next month I'm going to go downtown and get me a bag of Blow so that I can do some really intense cardio." They went F-g crazy!!!1

And that was only talking about prohormones.......and here's the best part.....a bunch of business people were arguing with me (really arguing) and I'm a doctor. None of my friends in medicine think it's a big deal (of course, b/c we all know the risks and benefits and no matter how much docs gets slammed here alot of us are normal open-minded physicians.)

I've given up on the general population - people who don't care what they look like can't relate to bb and everyone is so freaked out by drugs that they can't even figure out the difference between heroine and deca (if it's in a needle it must be bad.)

Yeah I used to find myself in those arguments and I would get really pissed off. Now I just laugh or be a smart ass and say so what I don't care. My favorite is I don't care if it kills me as long as I look big in my cascet. Besides we know the truth and they don't know shit and never researched anything and they are going by all the propaganda that surrounds steroid use.

Okay, honest to God, this is part of a conversation I heard at the bar I work in last night....

"Yeah, I would never put something like that (he was referring to steroids) in my body..." At the exact same time, he lit about his 10th cigarette in the last hour, and finished his 5th jack and coke.

oh yeah the bar room flies are Mr. not it alls.....I love how they all drink like fish and smoke like trains ,but they would "NEVER put steroids in there bodies".....plain ignorance

what i have learned in the past is there is no need to explain yourself to anyone. Just tell them you work out and thats it. You don't need to explain that you are going to take anything. Just don't tell anyone anything. Change the subject if lifting comes up. Let people think what they want when you get big. People just don't get it. Even creatien is looked down on to most people that don't lift.

People have even asked me... " oh... what do you take creatien or something?? " . That's how bad it is out there.

Yep it sucks but you just say its eating right and protein intake. Anything from creatine to pro-whore-moans to God forbid AAS, will be attacked by someone.

All my friends at first say "dude your crazy, be careful". 6 weeks later I'm bigger with no apparent repurcussions, and the tone changes to "dude, get me some".

I've done two cycles since this time last year. I've gained 35lbs during that year. And to say the least, when my regulars ( I'm a bartender also) noticed they would ask, "Hey, are you getting bigger??" or "Hey you're getting bigger! What are you doing, steroids or something?" With both questions I answer: Yes, I am. Thank You for noticing. I'm just sure not to mention it to HATERS or POLICE. And yes, I've gotten some mixed reveiws about my choice of workout supplements, but, the bottom line is: I look better than them, I am healther than them, and I out game MILLONARES for women at my bar. Don't feel chanlenged by what people think. Hell, I thought that steroids were the Spawn of Satan before I researched the stuff for 6 months. People fear what they don't understand. I think that we can all say that the learning curve with AS is pretty steep. Anyway, those are just my thoughts.

I outright tell them I'm on steroids and ask if they have a problem with it. If they do, what will they do about it? Hell, I have legions enter GNC just to ask me about them and learn. I am their messiah. You walk into a place and your presence commands respect... all eyes are on you and the mention of your name gets the other person's attention.
