peanuts before bed

What is a good serving size? Im trying to drop BF, so im a little under maintenance...I can tweak things a little to include these cals in there...just need a good serving size.

Depends on what your fat allowance is. As long as it fits in your daily cal and fat intake, it should be all good.

I generally consume 1 serving of ANPB (2 tbs.) or peanuts (1/4 cup).

Actually walnuts and almonds are better choices (in that order), but peanuts are good too. I get bags of roasted, non salted peanuts, raw almonds and walnut pieces, they all cost around the same at Trader Joes and helps me to not get bored of too much of either for too long.

three heaping handfuls of shelled peanuts........prob. a 1/2 - 3/4 cup.........some in my shake, some not.....perfect!

I'd just eat as many as you want to... its not like some peanuts before bed will put any fat on you... if anything, they will help recovery and prevent muscle catabolism.

Any certain type of peanuts to look for?

Dry roasted, unsalted.

Regular roasted have hydrogenated oils added. Dry roasted only contain the natural oils already in there.

I sometimes have a handful before bed. But I'm not doidn anything special dietarily.

What about roasted in the shell? If you are eating them out of the shell do they have hydrogenated oils added?
