peanut butter or peanuts?

I notice from looking at people diet that a lot tend to have peanut butter (which in my nievity i assume is pretty much peanuts with butter).

Is it not better to have just a handful of peanuts?

All natural peanut butter = peanuts + Salt

Skippys Peanutbutter = Peanuts+Shitload of other BAD ingrediants.

Peanuts = Peanuts lol

So looks like All natural peanut butter is a plain ol handfull of peanuts, just grounded up and the oil in the peanut butter makes it "buttery"

All Natural PB (ANPB) is the same thing as peanuts, really - but in a butter form....

Hard part is controlling your portions.....

harder yet is taking a tablespoon full gulping it down and trying to swallow it without washing it down lol

I've reduced my diet to just having it prebed. It never fills me up enough otherwise other times of the day and too many quick calories.

And you can get no salt peanut butter, which is what I do.

I see, so unsalted peanuts would be the best. Or maybe unsalted cashews!
I like it all either way!

It's not that one or the other is "best" - it's more how you're fitting it into your diet, time of day & which form you prefer it in......

For ANPB - I've found Crazy Richard's Chunky to be the best tasting.....Trader Joes' unsalted chunky is good too (their salted is VERY salty)

Also try whole unsalted almonds.....

What're all the bad ingredients in non all natural peanut butter?

Added sugars & hydrogenated oils - which add trans fats. All you really need as an ingredient is peanuts + salt....

Skippy has an ANPB out that requires no need to stir(ever). This is what I buy, is this bad for me? Thanks in advance

Skippy's "AN" Peanut butter isn't the same as a "true" AN Peanut Butter which is ONLY peanuts (and usually) salt. Skippy's also contains palm oil. Palm oil is natural, but it's high in saturated fats and mimics the hydrogenated oils used in other peanut butters, and that's why the PB doesn't separate.
