I bought a jar of PB to supplament my CKD with a good EFA source. I figured if I ate one Tbsp a day, I would keep ketosis going and add a tasty treat in the middle of the day.
Little did I know the effect that the jar would have on me.
The first few days, I started out ok, I ate a tbsp a day. But today, I cracked, I had my Tbsp, then another Tbsp, then another Tbsp, and before I knew it I was already halfway through the jar.
I have never 'binged' on any particular food until today. I was scarfing down those Tbsps and I litterally couldn't stop eating PB. I knew this wasn't going to work so I filled the rest of the jar with water and mixed in a little salt for good measure. Then I threw it away.
I will never buy PB again, although I will try roasted peanuts. I don't really like the tasted of unsalted peanuts, so I doubt I will binge on them.
